The thermal bath of Eger
The Thermal Bath of Eger is situated next to Turkish Spa, in a 0.5 square kilometer area.
Eger is a city world famous for its curative thermal water, all seven pools are filled with water of nearby hot springs.
The spings were discovered by the Turks, and by now, the long known fact, that these waters can cure several medical problems have been certified by scientific research.
By 2002 the Thermal Bath of Eger became one of the most well known place for tourists seeking a pleasant and satisfying time.
The first pool, built in 1936 is a one of a kind in Europe with its radon contained water which comes through a natural peeble bed.
In some of the pools the guests can bath in one of several thermal spring's water. One of the pools contains a 28C lightliy radio active water, while another is a 47C hot thermal water contains sulphur and calcium-hydrocarbon.
The closed adventure-pool has 14 different items supporting a good and relaxing time.
For sport fans, there is even a modern sporting swimming pool for use. |
